SHAH ALAM, May 9 — Menteri Besar Dato' Amirudin Shari took time to visit outstanding SPM student Muhammad Azrul Azmi at Pangsapuri Selaseh Indah in Batu Caves recently, describing him as an inspiration to other young people.
Azrul, who has mild autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), achieved an impressive 11As in the SPM examination and has received an offer to further his studies at a matriculation college.
Amirudin said Azrul’s achievement proves that every individual has the potential to succeed when given the right support and opportunities.
“Although he has mild autism and ADHD, Azrul managed to achieve excellent results of 11As in the SPM examination. It is a truly proud achievement for his family, teachers and the community,” he stated in a Facebook post.
Amirudin also praised Azrul’s ambition to pursue a career in cybersecurity.
“I was deeply touched to hear about his ambition to venture into cybersecurity, a field that is becoming increasingly important in today’s world.
“His spirit, discipline and determination should inspire other young people that every individual has their own potential to succeed.
“Congratulations, Azrul. Keep moving forward and pursue your dreams as high as possible,” he said.
