SHAH ALAM, May 10 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari joined more than 200 mothers and women at a Mother’s Day celebration organised by the PSPK Women Development Centre in Selayang.
He said the role PSPK has played over the past 20 years in empowering women and supporting communities deserves recognition.
The organisation’s continued efforts in women’s development, community support, and the protection of vulnerable groups have also been acknowledged in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals agenda.
“Their efforts in appreciating mothers and shaping a better future deserve recognition,” Amirudin said in a Facebook post yesterday.
He also expressed appreciation to PSPK members for their dedication to empowering communities and supporting women and families in Selangor.
“Thank you to the entire PSPK team for your continued dedication to empowering communities and supporting women and families in Selangor,” Amirudin said.
The Menteri Besar also prayed that all mothers would continue to be blessed with good health, strength, and happiness with their families.
“May every mother continue to be blessed with health, strength, and happiness alongside their loved ones. Happy Mother’s Day,” he said.
