SHAH ALAM, May 26 — Two local hardcore criminals were shot dead in a gunfight with officers from Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department last night.
Its director Datuk M. Kumar said the shootout occurred at 9.10pm at Jalan Persiaran Seri Putra 2, Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi Lama, Kajang.
“The suspects were believed to have been involved in a string of armed robbery cases across the Klang Valley,” he said in a statement today.
An inspection uncovered one revolver, several rounds of live ammunition, spent shell casings, four machetes, housebreaking tools, balaclavas, and gloves.
Kumar added that a press conference is scheduled later today on the further details of the incident.
