WASHINGTON, Oct 25 — The United States and Australia are expected to make a major announcement regarding the joint undersea cable project that seeks to improve internet connection to Pacific Island states, a senior US administration official told reporters.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 5 — Most of the undersea cable construction in Malaysia do not involve government funds, but is implemented by the private sector using their own funds, said Deputy Communications and Digital Minister Teo Nie Ching.
