BANGI, Nov 10 — The Total Fertility Rate (TFR) of women of reproductive age in Malaysia has continued to decline over the past five decades and if this trend continues it is expected that the annual population growth will continue to decline until it reaches a level of 0.7 per cent in 2050.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 — The number of live births in Malaysia sees the highest decrease in a decade with 439,744 births recorded in 2021 compared to 471,504 births in 2020, according to Vital Statistics, Malaysia, 2021 report released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia today.
