KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 — Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will lower the Statutory Reserve Requirement (SRR) ratio by 100 basis points, from two per cent to one per cent, effective May 16, 2025.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 — CGS-CIMB Securities has projected that any tightening of the statutory reserve requirement (SRR) by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) would lower banks' aggregate net profit by 3.2 per cent in 2023.
