KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — The 25th Asean Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime (SOMTC) and its Related Meetings, which lasted for five days starting on Monday (June 23) in Putrajaya, served as a platform in formulating a plan to combat 10 transboundary crimes that plague the region.

PUTRAJAYA, June 24 — The rising threats of cybercrime, ranging from financial scams to ransomware attacks, highlight the urgent need for stronger and more coordinated cooperation among Asean member states, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
