Perhilitan to drive tiger sighted in Kenering back to its habitat

IPOH, Jan 5 — The Perak Department of Wildlife Protection and National Parks (Perhilitan) confirmed receiving a report on a tiger sighting at Jalan Baling-Kuala Kangsar near Kampung Kuala Kenering, near Gerik.

March 22 date to sight Ramadan new moon

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 — The sighting of the new moon for the commencement of the Ramadan fast for Muslims in Malaysia will take place on March 22 (Wednesday), the Office of the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal announced today.
