KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 – The Social Security Organisation (Socso) and the Professional Film Workers Association of Malaysia (Profima) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to extend social security coverage to 7,000 production crews and behind-the-scenes workers in the country's film industry.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 — Associations representing film industry staff and professionals have urged the Malaysian National Film Development Corporation (Finas) to review its decision of no longer requiring actors, employees and film directors to join any of the Finas-recognised associations under the Padu Citra programme.
