WELLINGTON, July 18 — New Zealand has expressed interest in increasing imports of Malaysian pineapples, driven by strong demand for the tropical fruit, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

BANGI, Jan 6 — Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) researchers have developed a method to transform the fibre found in normally discarded pineapple leaves to make a strong material that can be used to build the frames for unmanned aircraft, or drones.
