PUTRAJAYA, Aug 18 — The Health Ministry will increase surveillance at Malaysia’s international entry points and advocacy on mpox following mpox being declared a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) by the World Health Organisation for a second time on August 14.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 — The Ministry of Health (MOH) today announced that the status of local areas of infection would remain unchanged for the time being even though the World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared that Covid-19 is no longer a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).
