AYER KEROH, Oct 9 — Growing parental awareness of 12-year-olds’ need for MyKad is the biggest contributor to the rise in identity card applications, said National Registration Department (JPN) deputy director-general (management) Faizah Jaarudin.

PUTRAJAYA, July 25 — Applications for the MyKid child identity card will reopen at all National Registration Department (JPN) offices starting on Monday, July 29.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 — The National Registration Department (NRD) is currently printing 160,000 delayed MyKid (children's identity) cards which will be distributed gradually as soon as the process is completed.

MELAKA, 14 Jan — There will be a six-month delay in the issuance of MyKid for newborns in this country following the global microchip shortage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, said National Registration Department (NRD) director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh.
