MCMC fines three for obscene comments on female infant circumcision

PUTRAJAYA, July 18 — The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) issued three individuals a compound of RM25,000 each for posting obscene comments on Facebook.

Jakim lodges MCMC report against woman promoting lewd ideas on Telegram

KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 — The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) has submitted an official complaint to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) regarding a Telegram account that discusses obscene topics run by a woman.

Man charged with sending lewd pictures via WhatsApp

ALOR SETAR, April 16 — A part-time employee at a government agency pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court, here today, to a charge of sending obscene communications with the intention of annoying others, through the WhatsApp application, about two years ago.
