SHAH ALAM, Feb 28 — Selangor has recorded five leprosy cases across five districts as of February 20, with no deaths reported.

SEREMBAN, Feb 26 — Residents of Kampung Orang Asli Chergun and Guntur in Kuala Pilah who have yet to undergo leprosy screening have been urged to do so immediately.

SEREMBAN, Feb 21 — The Health Ministry (MOH) has assured the leprosy situation in Kuala Pilah remains under control, with patients no longer requiring isolation due to the availability of effective treatment.

KOTA KINABALU, May 12 — The Ministry of Health (MOH) aims for zero new local leprosy cases by 2030.

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 29 — The number of new leprosy cases in Malaysia increased by 40 per cent to 256 cases in 2023 compared to 183 cases the previous year, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 30 — Malaysia recorded a 15.5 per cent increase in new leprosy cases in 2022, with 164 cases compared to 142 in 2021, said Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa.
