Multi-country outbreak of salmonella typhimurium linked to chocolate products: WHO

GENEVA, April 28 — The World Health Organisation (WHO) said on Wednesday that there have been more than 151 suspected cases of salmonellosis to be linked to the popular "Kinder" chocolate products produced in Belgium.

Health Ministry: No contaminated Kinder products entered Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 — No Kinder chocolate products from the Ferrero Ardennes chocolate factory in Arion, Belgium that was reported to be contaminated with Salmonella typhimurium bacteria have entered Malaysia, according to the Food Safety and Quality Division (BKKM) of the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Ferrero asks Americans to dispose of Kinder chocolates over Salmonella fears

REUTERS, April 13 — Ferrero on Tuesday asked US consumers to dispose of Kinder chocolates not authorized for distribution in the country, warning they could be from the batch of chocolates recently recalled in Europe due to a potential Salmonella Typhimurium contamination.
