PUTRAJAYA, Oct 30 — There was an eight per cent drop in the number of deaths in 2022, with 206,525 recorded compared to 224,569 in 2021, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said today.

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 26 — Ischaemic heart diseases remained as the principal causes of death in Malaysia with 16,325 deaths or 15.0 per cent of total medically certified deaths, said Chief Statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin.
