5,000 babies born each year in Malaysia have heart problems, says Dr Wan Azizah

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 – Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in Malaysia and it is estimated that 5,000 babies are born each year with congenital heart problems in this country.
