KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 — Westports Holdings Bhd handled a container throughput of 10.5 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), the second-highest ever in its history and was only three per cent less than the previous year’s record volume for the financial year that ended December 31, 2020 (FY20).

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 — Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) net profit fell to RM3.40 billion in the financial year ended December 31, 2020 (FY20), from RM4.53 billion in the same period a year earlier due to lower revenue and finance income.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 — Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) closed its financial year ended Dec 31, 2020 (FY20) with a lower net profit of RM6.48 billion compared with RM8.20 billion in FY19 due to significantly higher net impairment losses, owing to the continued impact from the Covid-19 pandemic.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 20 — Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB) posted a lower net profit of RM276 million in its financial year ended December 31, 2020 (FY20) compared to RM829.54 million a year earlier as it was affected by external challenges including the sharp decline in petroleum product prices at the start of the year and the ensuing Covid-19-related movement restrictions.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 — Petronas Dagangan Bhd's net profit slipped to RM212.66 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020 (Q3 2020) from the RM239.00 million posted in the same quarter last year.
