PUTRAJAYA, Dec 21 — Traffic on major highways is expected to rise sharply, with an estimated 2.55 million vehicles daily, as travellers leave the city for their hometowns in the eastern, northern, and southern regions for Christmas on Wednesday and the year-end school holidays.
