Number of divorces decreased by 7.1 pct in 2021 — DOSM

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 25 — The number of divorces declined by 7.1 per cent from 47,272 in 2020 to 43,934 last year, according to the latest Marriage and Divorce Statistics released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM).

Number of marriages declined, divorces increased in 2019

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 30 — The number of marriages in 2019 decreased by 1.2 per cent to 203,821 as compared to 206,352 in 2018, the Marriage and Divorce Statistics, Malaysia, 2020 report revealed today.
