Toyota, Idemitsu join hands to mass-produce all-solid-state batteries

TOKYO, Oct 12 — Toyota Motor and Idemitsu Kosan have joined hands to develop and mass-produce all-solid-state batteries for electric vehicles, the companies said on Thursday.

Indonesia says Tesla strikes US$5 bln deal to buy nickel products

JAKARTA, Aug 9 — US carmaker Tesla has signed contracts worth about US$5 billion to buy materials for their batteries from nickel processing companies in Indonesia, a senior cabinet minister told CNBC Indonesia.
