MACC chief: We have no power to decide eligibility of election candidates

KAJANG, Sept 30 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said MACC has no authority to determine whether an individual who is involved in corruption is eligible to contest in an election.
