Axiata incurs net loss of RM52.40 mln in third quarter on forex losses

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 25 — Axiata Group Bhd has posted a net loss of RM52.40 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2022 (Q3 2022) compared with a net profit of RM349.56 million in the same period last year, mainly impacted by significant foreign exchange (forex) losses of RM346.7 million.

Securities Commission approves Digi-Celcom proposed merger — Digi, Axiata Group

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 — The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has approved the proposed merger between Digi.Com Bhd and Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom) under certain terms and conditions, Digi and Axiata Group Bhd (Axiata) said.
