Agri-commodity sector contributes RM64.6 bln to GDP from January to September

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 — The agri-commodity sector has contributed RM64.6 billion or around 5.3 per cent to the gross domestic product (GDP) from January to September 2024, said the Plantation and Commodities Ministry (KPK).

Malaysia, Indonesia to discuss CPO benchmark pricing — Fadillah

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 26 — Malaysia will hold a meeting with the Indonesian government to discuss the republic’s intention to have its own crude palm oil (CPO) benchmark price, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Plantation and Commodities Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
