SHAH ALAM, June 5 — Registration for this year’s sixth session of the Language Foundations Class, under the Language Discovery@Selangor Public Library initiative, is now open.
The Selangor Public Library Corporation (PPAS) in a Facebook statement said the classes are offered for free with state government allocations.
“The language offered is English. Priority is given for those who previously registered a Language Discovery account,” it said.
PPAS said the online classes would be held four times a month for three months.

Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the state government would offer free online foreign language classes this year to boost multilingualism among the people and foster unity.
He added that the approach reflects the Selangor administration’s confidence that language mastery would allow Malaysia to compete at the global level.
Last week, Amirudin announced a special RM500,000 incentive for Language Discovery@Selangor Public Library.
