SHAH ALAM, May 10 — Inisiatif Buku Darul Ehsan (IBDE) is offering up to 20 per cent in discounts, in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2026 that will be held from May 29 until June 7.
The publishing company, which received a grant from the state government, announced that the discount is based on the purchase amount: 20 per cent for three books, 15 per cent for two books, and 10 per cent for one book.
A number of exciting offers, including special combos, will also be available to attract visitors to its booth throughout the book fair.
“IBDE also provides eight special combos for visitors, such as the Amal combo, the Sirah combo, the World War combo, the Malay World combo, the World combo, Ihya’ Ulumuddin Volume 1 to 5, Ihya’ Ulumuddin Volume 6 to 10, and the Al-Ghazali Muda series.
“Buku Peluang Kedua, which has minor damage, but does not affect reading, IBDE is putting a special price, starting at only RM3,” it said in a Facebook post yesterday.
Besides that, IBDE also offers bookmark gifts with the words ‘I read, so I have’ for every purchase, in addition to launching 20 new titles this year.
“Visitors can also get an IBDE merchandise collection, such as t-shirts, bags, posters, stickers, key-chains, and many more.
“Exclusively for IBDE Booksellers, enjoy double reward points for every purchase in any IBDE booths throughout KLIBF 2026,” it said.
IBDE booths can be visited at three locations, namely Level Two (Tun Ismail Hall, Booth 503), Level Three (Tun Razak Hall Three, Booth 630), and Level Four (Tun Razak Hall Four, Booth 835) at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, which operates from 10am to 10pm.
