ANKARA, Sept 7 — At least 14 Palestinians, mostly displaced persons and children, were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza City since dawn Sunday, according to medical sources, the Anadolu Ajansi reported.

Local medical staff told Anadolu that two children were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a tent sheltering displaced families in the al-Rimal neighbourhood in western Gaza.

Four more Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli strike on an apartment in the al-Ghazali building in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood in northern Gaza, sources said.

Separately, eight Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli aircraft struck al-Farabi School, which was housing displaced persons near al-Yarmouk Stadium in Gaza City.

Gaza City has come under sustained bombardment in recent days, with residential towers repeatedly targeted and reduced to rubble.

The Israeli army has intensified its offensive across the city, where hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians have sought refuge after being forced from their homes in northern and eastern Gaza.

The Israeli genocidal war in Gaza marked day 700 on Friday, with Israel having killed over 64,300 Palestinians. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
