KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 — RON97 will remain at RM3.17 per litre from tomorrow to August 13.
The Finance Ministry (MOF) in a statement today announced that for the same period, RON95 will remain at RM2.05 per litre.
Meanwhile, diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will retail at three sen more per litre, from RM2.91 to RM2.94, while the price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan will remain at RM2.15 per litre.
According to the MOF, the retail prices are determined weekly based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.
“The government will continue to monitor the impact of global crude oil price changes and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s welfare and well-being,” the statement said.
