SHAH ALAM, Aug 4 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari will deliver a special mandate to department heads and community representatives on August 29 in conjunction with National Day.
He said among the highlights of the address will be the state’s direction, especially the First Selangor Plan and the Smart Selangor Action Plan (SSAP).
“We will hold a National Day celebration on August 30 as usual, the only difference is there will be a special mandate delivered to department heads and community representatives on August 29.
“On August 30, there will be a special mandate from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, so Selangor, too, has a special mandate for 2026 … to complete plans such as the RS-1 and ‘smart state’ (SSAP),” he said when met by reporters after the launch of the Reformed Delivery and Governance System for Selangor, or RSTU, at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Building here today. Also held were a civil servants’ assembly and a “Fly the Jalur Gemilang” campaign.
Earlier, in his speech to thousands of civil servants, Amirudin reminded everyone to appreciate the history of the formation of Malaysia as a sovereign nation.
