KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 — The body of a woman was found facedown on rocks under the Sungai Klang bridge near Jalan Jurutera in Puchong this morning.
Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said police received a report from a passerby at 11.58am, and a team was dispatched to the scene.
“Initial examination revealed the body was dressed entirely in black, and no identification documents or personal belongings were found on the victim.
“A forensics team from the Selangor police contingent headquarters is at the scene and has classified the case as sudden death. Based on the condition of the body, the victim is believed to have been in the river for about 24 hours,” he said in a statement today.
Wan Azlan said the body has been sent to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem, scheduled for 8am tomorrow, to determine the cause of death.
