SHAH ALAM, July 7 — A development plan for Bandar Sentosa, Klang, is being developed to ensure public facilities are well-integrated and future development complies with local planning guidelines.

State executive councillor for youth, sports, and entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi said Bandar Sentosa is located within a designated mixed-use zone that includes areas for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and community facilities, as well as open spaces, recreational areas, infrastructure, utilities, transportation, agriculture, and forest reserves.

“Support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bandar Sentosa includes improved accessibility via main roads such as Jalan Kebun, Jalan Sungai Jati, Jalan Raja Nong, Jalan Kebun Nenas, and Persiaran Puteri. There is also access to Smart Selangor buses and other forms of public transportation.

“Additionally, a development plan for Bandar Sentosa is being developed to ensure the provision of well-planned public and community facilities.

“All future development plans will comply with local planning guidelines and take into account the needs of the locals,” he said during a question-and-answer session at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly session today.

Najwan was responding to a question from Sentosa state assemblyman G. Gunarajah, who asked about the state government’s strategies and support for SME entrepreneurs to attract investment, create job opportunities, and promote the area as a commercial hub.

He added that the state government, via the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK), will allocate facilities for local traders to ensure they have opportunities to operate and earn an income.
