SHAH ALAM, July 3 — The state’s free health screening programme, Selangor Saring, will be held in the Subang Jaya state constituency on July 13.
Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze said the 9am-3pm event will be held at the Subang Jaya City Council multipurpose hall in USJ7.
Selangor Saring offers free physical, heart, high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney, cancer, eye, nose and teeth checkups.
Ng said those interested should register on the SELangkah app as individual risk factors are assessed via early screening forms on the app.
She added in a Facebook post that registrants need not fast, and reminded that walk-in registrations are not allowed.

State executive councillor for public health and environment Jamaliah Jamaluddin said 2,190 people have undergone free health screenings under Selangor Saring from February to June 15 this year.
She said the programme has been held in 15 state constituencies and will continue in other areas for the rest of the year.
Selangor Saring is the state government’s initiative to help residents with early detection of diseases according to risk factors such as family medical history, obesity, and lifestyle.
