SHAH ALAM, June 2 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari has congratulated His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, on his official birthday today.
He expressed his utmost respect and heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the state government.
"I humbly pray that His Majesty and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong will always be under the protection and grace of Allah SWT, blessed with long life, good health, and well-being
"May His Majesty continue to reign on the throne in sovereignty and greatness," Amirudin said in a Facebook post.
Other state government leaders also felicitated the King, including Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusof, and Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, among others.
Earlier on, His Majesty presided over the investiture ceremony to present Federal awards, stars, and medals to 104 recipients at Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar headed the list, which included Chief of Defence Force General Tan Sri Mohd Nizam Jaffar, Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Hasnah Mohammed Hashim, Royal Malaysian Navy Commander Tan Sri Zulhelmy Ithnain, and Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.
