SHAH ALAM, May 8 — Two celebrated craftsmen in the local art world, Hasnul Jamal Saidon and Raja Shahriman Raja Aziddin, were featured at the Senadi Senafas (One Pulse, One Breath) exhibit at Galeri Shah Alam.
Yayasan Seni Selangor director for Galeri Shah Alam, Badrul Kahar Mohd Yusof, said it is a high honour for the state.
“Raja Shahriman is showing his metalwork, which requires physical strength and high technical skills, while Hasnul Jamal is featuring metaphorical, spiritual and nature-based art.
“One firm and physical, the other soft and spiritual; they complete each other,” Badrul Kahar said at the show on Tuesday.

Badrul Kahar added that the exhibit is the duo’s first collaboration in both craftsmen’s two decades of being artists and friends since they were students.
“This combination is really unique and rare. This moment has been long awaited by visitors and art enthusiasts,” he said.
The Senadi Senafas exhibit will be held until June 19 from 10am to 5pm daily, with free public admission.
