SHAH ALAM, May 7 — Selangor FC has announced a partnership with sports and entertainment event organiser Haro Sports & Entertainment Sdn Bhd for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
Its chief executive officer Johan Kamal Hamidon said the collaboration will link the club with the Super GT Malaysia car racing championship, providing a fresh experience for both industries while expanding the club’s name internationally.
The partnership will offer exclusive access passes to 2025/26 Selangor FC Grandstand season pass holders for the Super GT Malaysia event from June 26 to June 28 at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.
“This allows loyal Selangor supporters to experience the Super GT race from Grandstand seating, which is being contested in Malaysia for the first time in ten years.
“Visitors will also get the chance to explore Japanese culture, cuisine, and entertainment, brought exclusively by Nihon Matsuri, a renowned Japanese cultural festival.
“Meanwhile, Platinum partners of Super GT Motorsports and Haro Sports & Entertainment will enjoy Skydeck access during Selangor FC matches throughout the 2025/26 season at MBPJ Stadium,” he said in a statement today.
Johan is confident that this partnership will open up a new dimension and create various unique experiences, given the differing backgrounds of both parties.
“Motorsport culture has its own distinct appeal, and when combined with football, it creates a valuable experience between these two sports.
“This collaboration will also be leveraged through the exchange of ideas in exploring the commercial and creative worlds, by producing content capable of expanding the name of the club, Malaysian football, and the motorsport industry through a unique and creative approach,” he said.
