KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG) are now one step closer to securing a playoff slot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Malaysia Professional League Season 15 (MPL MY 15) after maintaining an unbeaten record in eight matches in the third week of the MPL, which ended yesterday.
MLBB game publisher Moonton in a statement today announced that SRG, who are in first place in the MPL MY 15, now only need one win against Homebois on Saturday to confirm a slot for the playoffs.
“In the third week of action that ended yesterday, SRG mid laner Hazziq Danish Mohamad Rizwan (Stormie) put in a stunning performance to help champions SRG secure a clean victory over Todak in the only SRG match this week,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Moonton said SRG roamer Muhammad Qayyum Ariffin Mohd Suhairi (Yums) performed brilliantly when he managed to surpass 2,000 total assists in MPL MY this week since his debut in the league in 2021.
“Yums managed to obtain a total of 2,006 assists and the record was achieved against his former team Todak this week.
“Yums’ total of 2,006 assists is the highest in the league, surpassing the record set by Mohammad Zul Hisham Mohd Noor (Xorn) from Team Vamos, who collected 1,882 assists,” read the statement.
