SHAH ALAM, April 29 — Selangor has unveiled a dynamic promotional video ahead of its debut at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan, marking its first official involvement in the prestigious global event.
Developed in collaboration with Monsta Studios Sdn Bhd, the 30-second 3D animated video was launched today, with a special feature by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
The video blends animated visuals with real-life footage to promote the state’s participation with the theme “Building a Resilient Future”.

State executive councillor for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han said the expo is a vital platform for Selangor to boost its international presence and centre its appeal as a hub for innovation and sustainable growth.
“Selangor Week at World Expo 2025 Osaka will be a pivotal moment for us to present Selangor as an investment powerhouse and a hub for future-ready industries.
“Our promotional video encapsulates the essence of what makes Selangor the ideal destination for business, trade and innovation,” he said in a statement today.
Selangor Week, scheduled from May 5 to 9, will be a highlight of the six-month Expo, which ends October 13.
The state government has planned immersive exhibits, cultural showcases, and business engagement sessions during Selangor Week to attract foreign investment and partnership, especially with Japanese stakeholders.
