KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 — The Italian Baker Sdn Bhd, producer of Massimo bread loaves, has announced a temporary disruption in the production of its bakery products due to the gas pipeline blaze in Putra Heights, which affected the liquid natural gas supply to its factory.

“We will continue to provide updates on our social media pages. For immediate concerns, please reach out to our Customer Support at 1800-22-6688,” it said in a statement today.

The devastating blaze on Tuesday (April 1) caused towering flames and intense heat that destroyed rows of houses and properties, including more than 300 vehicles.

As of 8am today, 377 victims from 98 families remained at two temporary relief centres. Of these, 311 people from 84 families at Masjid Putra Heights and 66 people from 14 families at the Subang Jaya City Council's Camelia Hall.

According to the Health Ministry, the number of victims receiving treatment remains the same as yesterday. Thirty-one individuals are in public hospitals in Putrajaya, Serdang, Klang and Kuala Lumpur, while 33 others are at private hospitals. No fatalities have been reported.
