KUALA LANGAT, March 31 — The people of Selangor are invited to the state-level Aidilfitri Madani celebration at Section 15, Bandar Baru Bangi, on Sunday (April 6).
Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin are expected to attend the event.
“In addition, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, members of the Cabinet, and the state leadership will also grace the occasion.
“The public, especially those in Hulu Langat and surrounding areas, as well as across Selangor, are invited to join us and enjoy the food provided,” he said.
Amirudin was speaking to the press after attending the Cerapan Rasmi Hilal Syawal ceremony at Baitulhilal Bukit Jugra yesterday. Also present was the Mufti of Selangor Dato' Anhar Opir.
The state-level Aidilfitri Madani celebration will take place at Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri's Dataran Kawad Akademi in Bangi from 10am to 4 pm.
The event will be enlivened by performances from local artists, including Datuk M. Nasir, Hael Hussaini, Nadeera, the group De Fam, Aisha Retno, and Fara Fauzana.
