SHAH ALAM, March 21 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is set to boost the city with the launch of Aneka Walk in the third quarter of this year.
Located in Section 14, this modern community hub will be strategically connected to the SACC Mall and Kompleks PKNS Shah Alam, making it the most dynamic, innovative, and comprehensive activity centre in the city.
Aneka Walk is the result of a strategic collaboration between PKNS and KRU Entertainment, offering a technology-driven entertainment experience that integrates music, digital arts, virtual reality (VR), and interactive experiences.
PKNS signature project director Azilah Arasad said that Aneka Walk is not just a development project but a symbol of Shah Alam’s transformation into a more modern and inclusive city.
"By linking SACC Mall and Kompleks PKNS Shah Alam, we are confident it will become a lifestyle and business hub that elevates the city's reputation to greater heights,” she said in a statement today.
With KRU Entertainment appointed as the strategic partner for venue and event management, Aneka Walk promises to be more than just a business centre.
It will serve as a digital and interactive hub seamlessly connecting SACC Mall, Kompleks PKNS Shah Alam, and the city centre within a modern and futuristic ecosystem. Spanning 300 metres with a covered walkway, visitors can enjoy digital entertainment, shopping, dining, and innovative interactions.
KRU Entertainment group chief executive officer Datuk Norman Abdul Halim said that Aneka Walk is more than just an entertainment destination; it is a platform for innovation in lifestyle, business, and digital technology.
"We aim to create a space where new ideas flourish, local talents shine, and visitors enjoy experiences beyond the ordinary," he said.
Beyond being an entertainment hotspot, it will also feature 150 business lots catering to entrepreneurs in the food and beverage, fashion, crafts, and music industries, among others.
The venue can accommodate up to 3,000 visitors at any one time. Various artistic and cultural activities, including live performances and interactive showcases, will be held weekly.
Adding to its appeal, Aneka Walk will also feature creative industry exhibitions, immersive digital and VR experiences, and fully cashless business transactions at every kiosk.
Aneka Walk is also expected to be a catalyst for economic growth in Selangor by creating more job opportunities in the retail and event management sectors. With flexible commercial spaces and a platform that supports local entrepreneurs, it has the potential to stimulate the local economy and strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises.
