Its senior general manager of corporate services Ahmad Rizal Mohd Daud said the funds are used to carry out charitable activities in various sectors, including contributions to those in need, like orphans and underprivileged groups.
“Each year, we allocate nearly RM1 million across different sectors. During Ramadan, we take the opportunity to conduct CSR activities, such as providing meals for orphans and donations to those in need.
“Since our operations are based in Selangor, we strive to reach as many areas as possible to assist those in need, offering contributions according to our capacity,” he said after the Bubur Lambuk Cinta Ramadan programme today.
During the programme, 80 Selangor Inland Revenue Board (Shah Alam locality) personnel, together with KDEBWM and Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPS), worked together to prepare bubur lambuk from 9am onwards.
2,500 packs were distributed to the local community in Section 14 throughout its duration, with KDEBWM allocating RM4,000 to realise Bubur Lambuk Cinta Ramadan.
