SHAH ALAM, March 8 — The Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah graciously presented Darul Ehsan Islamic Foundation's (Yide) Hari Raya Aidilfitri contributions to 580 orphans in the Petaling district today.

His Highness personally handed over the RM87,000 donation during the contribution ceremony at Masjid Al-Ubudiyah in Section 19.

Yide chairman Tan Sri Mazlan Mansor said the donation is part of the RM361,950 total allocation designated for 2,413 orphans in the Petaling district this year.

“For orphans who were unable to attend in person, the contributions have been credited directly into their bank accounts to ensure they still receive their allocations.

“This initiative reflects Yide’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare and well-being of orphans in the state,” he said at the event today.

During the ceremony, Tengku Amir Shah also presented certificates of appreciation to five Chief Sahabat Prihatin Yide representatives from the Petaling district.

Following the event, His Highness listened to a Ramadan talk titled 'Ramadan Jalan Ketakwaan', delivered by Sahabat Dakwah Yide Imam Muda Hassan Adly, before performing the Zuhur congregational prayer.
