SHAH ALAM, March 7 — The state government and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) are collaborating to assist entrepreneurs in strengthening their digital transformation.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said several opportunities have been identified to support the digitalisation ecosystem for entrepreneurs in Selangor.
“In the discussion, MDEC explained their role in promoting digital transformation as well as expanding the technology and innovation ecosystem in Malaysia.
“They also provided details on various capacity-building programmes and support for local companies through the eUsahawan platform initiative,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Earlier, Amirudin received a courtesy visit from MDEC’s management, led by its chief executive officer Anuar Fariz Fadzil.
The Menteri Besar also briefed MDEC on the state government’s initiatives, particularly in digitalisation, including support for entrepreneurs through the Selangor Platform and the Smart Selangor SME Platform.
