SHAH ALAM, Feb 25 — A total of RM579 million in revenue collection has been reported in Selangor as of February this year, said Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari.
He believes the RM3 billion revenue target for this year can be achieved if all civil servants, including relevant agencies, work together.
“This revenue figure is certainly encouraging, but how can we ensure consistency to achieve even better growth?
“Therefore, I urge civil servants and related agencies to always be dynamic, resolute, and foster teamwork. Many issues can be resolved if there is mutual understanding.
“I am confident that we can continue and do our best in facing various challenges if we embrace these three qualities,” Amirudin said.
He was speaking at the Anugerah Jasamu Dikenang (AJD) ceremony for department chiefs at the DoubleTree by Hilton in iCity this evening.
During the event, the Menteri Besar presented appreciation awards to 13 department heads within the state government administration.
The AJD is a token of appreciation and a final tribute to them for demonstrating outstanding leadership throughout their service.
Additionally, it serves as motivation for other civil servants to continue striving to provide the best service for the well-being of the people of Selangor.
