SHAH ALAM, Feb 3 – Dato’ Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin, who has been appointed as the new Selangor State Secretary effective today, brings extensive experience in public administration.
In a statement today, the Selangor State Secretary’s Office stated that his past roles include president of the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) in 2020 and head of the Management and Innovation Cluster at the National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) at Jalan Elmu in 2019.
Prior to his appointment as Selangor state secretary, he served as the state financial officer.
He also has experience in district administration, having served as assistant district officer and chief assistant district officer at the Perak Tengah District and Land Office and he was also attached to the Rural Development Ministry.
Ahmad Fadzli, 53, holds a Doctorate in Business Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and began his career in the civil service as an administrative and diplomatic officer in 1996.
“The Selangor State Secretary’s Office would like to extend its congratulations to Dato’ Dr Ahmad Fadzli on his appointment,” the statement read.
The state office also expressed its deepest appreciation to former State Secretary Dato’ Setia Haji Haris Kasim for his dedication and service in strengthening Selangor’s public administration during his tenure from November 1, 2021, to January 31, 2025.
