SHAH ALAM, Dec 31 — Frequent flash flooding in the Sentosa state constituency will be the issue of focus next year.
Sentosa assemblyman G. Gunarajah said some infrastructure will be improved, including widening the drains in Taman Sentosa and Bukit Tinggi.
“There are several low-lying areas in Bukit Tinggi, and the drains cannot contain all the water during heavy rain.
“The catchment pool at Tasik Botanik must also be maintained. This needs action from the Klang Royal City Council,” he said when contacted.

Gunarajah said his office will improve its cooperation with KDEB Waste Management to ensure waste collection goes smoothly.
“There must be a shift in residents’ attitudes, as there are many still dumping garbage where they shouldn’t,” he said.
He added that his hopes for 2025 are for all civil servants and state agencies to work together to successfully implement the state administration’s policies.
“Selangor has a great vision, but what’s more important is its implementation must be done in a united manner at every level,” Gunarajah said.
