SHAH ALAM, Dec 30 — Civil servants in Selangor were all smiles today after receiving the first payout of one month’s salary under Special Financial Aid (BKK).
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced during the tabling of the 2025 Selangor State Budget in November that civil servants will receive two months’ salary under the BKK 2024, to be disbursed in stages.
He said on Facebook that the first payout was made in gratitude for civil servants’ commitment to the state government.
“Today, December 30, 2024, we celebrate Selangor civil servants’ extraordinary dedication. They are the backbone of the state and ensure Selangor continues to succeed and excel.
“We have entered our fourth consecutive year of exceeding state revenue targets. This is the result of Selangor civil servants’ efforts and dedication.
“May this special incentive be utilised well and translate into an increase in service quality for Selangor and its people,” he said.
Previously, Amirudin said the first BKK payout would be made today, and the next on March 25 in conjunction with Aidilfitri.
