SHAH ALAM, Dec 25 — The digital portal visitselangor2025.my, launched in conjunction with the Visit Selangor Year (VSY) 2025 campaign, provides a wide range of information, including attractive tourism package offers in Selangor.
Tourism Selangor chief executive officer Azrul Shah Mohamad said the regularly updated portal has been accessible to the public since its introduction on December 21.
“This digital portal is designed to be a more interactive tourism information hub for visitors. It features various updated information, including event calendars, festivals, and exhibitions across Selangor.

“In addition, an interactive map showcasing accommodations and restaurants for tourists’ reference is also included, along with tourism packages offered by product operators in conjunction with VSY 2025,” he told SelangorKini.
On Saturday (December 21), Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari officially launched the digital portal visitselangor2025.my as part of the VSY 2025 campaign.
Held during the VSY 2025 Festival and Concert at Setia City Park, Shah Alam, it also saw the unveiling of the campaign’s official mascot, SPARK the Firefly.
During the launch, Tourism Selangor introduced the VSY 2025 official theme song Surprising Selangor, performed by renowned singer Aizat Amdan.
Azrul also highlighted efforts to actively promote the digital portal through social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), utilising interactive content like videos and infographics.
“Involving social media influencers and content creators is one of the initiatives to promote the digital portal, alongside advertising on digital and print media platforms with easily accessible QR code links.
“Tourism Selangor is also collaborating with tourism product operators by displaying the QR code for visitselangor2025.my on their web pages,” he added.
For the record, Selangor aims to attract eight million tourists, with 40 per cent expected to come from abroad, as part of the VSY 2025 campaign.
