SHAH ALAM, Dec 23 — Ten start-ups from Selangor participated in a sharing and entrepreneurial training programme in Taipei, Taiwan, aimed at enhancing their business potential in the global market.

State executive councillor for investment, trade, and mobility Ng Sze Han said the session strengthened collaboration and stimulated innovation among the start-up communities of both countries.

“We joined the Meet Startup - Taiwan-Malaysia Innovation Transformation and Empowerment Sharing Night programme. Both parties shared their entrepreneurial journeys and respective challenges.

“Start-ups in Selangor are now fully prepared to penetrate international markets, and it is hoped that this sharing session will inspire everyone to dream big and bring their products to the global stage,” he said in a Facebook post on Friday (December 20).

Ng added that the event not only helped expand networking opportunities but also created avenues to enhance the potential and competitiveness of their businesses in the global market.

The Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) implements the Selangor Accelerator Programme to drive the growth of start-ups by providing comprehensive support and opportunities for international reach.

Sidec is committed to providing the necessary resources, guidance, and opportunities to help start-ups succeed on the global stage.
