PUTRAJAYA, Nov 21 — The October Supplementary Electoral Roll (DPT BLN10/2024) is open for review for 30 days from today until December 20, said Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak.
He said the DPT BLN10/2024, certified yesterday and gazetted today, includes the names of 43,196 Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above who were automatically registered as new voters between October 1 and 31.
Additionally, it contains 10,876 registered voters who have changed their electoral divisions and 2,101 voters who have updated their voting status or category.
“The EC urges citizens aged 18 and above during the period from October 1 to 31, 2024, and registered voters who applied for changes in electoral division or voter status, to check their names in the DPT BLN10/2024,” he said in a statement today.
Ikmalrudin added that the EC provides five methods for review: via the EC portal or MySPR Semak portal, state election office portals, and via online application.
Other methods include the mobile app MySPR Semak and the Voter Registration Check hotline at 03-8892 7218.
Ikmalrudin also said if voters find their names missing from the DPT BLN10/2024, they can file a claim by filling out Form C on the portal or by visiting their state election office.
Registered voters in an electoral division who wish to object to the inclusion of names of voters transferring into their division must complete Form D online or visit their state election office.
Forms C and D can also be downloaded from the state election office portals and must be submitted to state election directors during office hours on weekdays throughout the review period for the DPT BLN10/2024.
